Haj 2027 Advance Payment Deadline Extended to August 17

Every year, many people go on a special trip called Haj to a holy city.

Before they can go, they need to pay some money to save their spot.

In India, a committee called the Haj Committee of India organizes this trip.

The committee said people have until August 17 to pay the advance amount.

The amount needed is ₹1,52,300.

The same rule applies to a shorter version of the trip called the short Haj package.

If people do not pay on time, they will lose their spot.

The committee said it will not give any extra warning before cancelling the seat.

The deadline was moved later to give pilgrims more time to pay.

The full trip will happen in the year 2027.
