MHPS to distribute 1 lakh national flags across the state

A group called the Minority Rights Protection Society wants to celebrate India's Independence Day.

Their leader, Farooq Shubli, said the group will give a national flag to one lakh homes.

The flags will be shared all across the state.

The group wants Muslims in 65 Assembly constituencies to join in.

They are asking people to hang the Indian flag at home to show love for their country.

The campaign remembers Muslim freedom fighters who gave their lives during India's fight against British rule.

Long ago, religious scholars told people to oppose the British, and many Muslims listened.

The group made a special phone app for the campaign.

People who sign up through the app get membership and a special certificate.

The goal is to build patriotic spirit during Independence Day celebrations.
