Flags Hoisted At Homes In Nizamabad, Kamareddy Districts

In India, people celebrate a special day called Independence Day.

Before this day arrives, many families show love for their country by putting up the national flag.

There is a programme called 'Har Ghar Tiranga', which encourages people to have the flag at every home.

The leader of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asked everyone to take part.

On Tuesday, people in two districts, Nizamabad and Kamareddy, hoisted flags at their homes.

Some leaders from the BJP party also joined in.

A leader named Endala Lakshminarayana put up the flag at his own house.

He said hoisting the flag helps make people feel proud and united as one nation.

He asked everyone to put up the tricolour to show this unity and pride.
