Pune Metro Changes Entry, Exit Rules At Six Stations

Pune expects many people to travel during Anant Chaturdashi.

To help everyone move safely, Pune Metro will change which gates people use at six stations.

Some gates will be only for entering, while others will be only for leaving.

These changes will apply on September 25.

Normal gate rules will return on September 26.

Metro services will run continuously for 41 hours during the festival rush.

Mahatma Phule Mandai station will keep its special barricades and crowd arrangements.

Passengers are asked to follow the signs and cooperate with Metro staff.

Key facts

Temporary changes: Entry and exit gates will be rearranged at six Pune Metro stations on September 25.
PCMC station: Gates 1 and 4 will be used for entry, while Gates 2 and 3 will be used for exit.
Other stations: Deccan Gymkhana, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Udyan, SNDT, Garware College and PMC will have station-specific gate arrangements.
Normal arrangements: Regular entry and exit arrangements will resume on September 26.
Continuous service: Pune Metro will operate continuously for 41 hours during Anant Chaturdashi.
Mahatma Phule Mandai: Barricades and special entry and exit arrangements will remain until the barricades are removed.
