Mumbai Metro Adds Late-Night Ganeshotsav Trains Through September 25

Mumbai Metro is adding more trains for people celebrating Ganeshotsav.

The special plan will run from September 14 through September 25, 2026.

On Lines 2A, 7&9, and 2B, the last trains will leave at 12:30 am.

Normally, the last trains leave at 11 pm.

This gives commuters an extra 90 minutes to travel home.

The Metro will also add 10 to 15 trips each day, depending on the line.

During the extra late-night hours, trains will arrive about every 15 minutes.

The plan is meant to make travel safer and easier after visits to Ganesh pandals and other celebrations.
