Gujarat builds enclosure at Ambardi Safari Park for attacking lions

Lions are big wild cats that live in forests in a part of India called Gujarat.

Sometimes, lions come too close to villages and towns, and a few have hurt people.

To keep everyone safe, the government is building a big new home for these lions.

This special home will be inside a park called Ambardi Safari Park.

It will be very large, about 100 hectares, which is like many football fields put together.

The lions will still live in a natural forest area so they can be comfortable.

The park is already home to Asiatic lions, leopards, and other animals like deer and peacocks.

Work is starting right before World Lion Day on August 10, a day to celebrate and protect lions.

This way, the lions are kept away from people, and people are kept safe from the lions.
