Maharashtra Waives Highway Tolls for Ganeshotsav 2026 Travellers
People travelling to Konkan for Ganeshotsav 2026 will not have to pay tolls on several important roads.
The toll waiver includes parts of the Mumbai-Bengaluru and Mumbai-Goa national highways.
It also includes some roads run by Maharashtra agencies and the Atal Setu.
Travellers must first get a special pass.
The pass will show the words “Ganeshotsav 2026 Konkan Darshan,” the vehicle number and the driver’s name.
People can get the pass for free from police and transport offices.
The same pass can be used when returning from Konkan.
State transport buses travelling to the festival will also receive the benefit.
Toll-free travel will apply to devotees travelling toward Konkan during Ganeshotsav 2026.
The waiver covers NH-48, NH-66, selected PWD and MSRDC roads, and the Atal Setu.
Travellers must display a free pass marked “Ganeshotsav 2026 Konkan Darshan.”
Passes will be available from police stations, traffic posts and Regional Transport Office offices after document verification.
MSRTC buses will also qualify, and the pass will remain valid for the return journey.
