Nitin Gadkari opened a major elevated road project in Goa.

The road is called the Porvorim Elevated Corridor and has six lanes.

He also inaugurated a large bridge and road corridor over the Zuari River.

These projects are meant to make driving between North and South Goa easier.

They should help reduce traffic jams at places such as Agasaim and Cortalim.

Heavy trucks may be able to use the improved highway instead of smaller local roads.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the corridor will improve links between the state’s two airports.

Gadkari also announced another highway project near Ponda that is expected to start in 2026.
