Omar Abdullah criticises internet curbs ahead of Delhi protest

Mobile internet service was set to be suspended within 4 km of Jantar Mantar ahead of a protest in Delhi.

Omar Abdullah criticised the move, saying a “Kashmir model” had been brought to the capital.

Metro restrictions were also scaled back after the Supreme Court told the Centre to reconsider them.

The curbs were intended to support security arrangements around the protest.
