SpaceX plans to launch 27 Starlink satellites on a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
The launch is scheduled for Monday at 5:28 p.m.
local time.
The satellites are part of Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite internet network.
The rocket is set to fly south along the California coast toward an orbit tilted 70 degrees to the Equator.
Its first-stage booster, making its 20th flight, is expected to land on a drone ship about eight and a half minutes after liftoff.
If the flight goes as planned, the satellites will be released into orbit a little more than an hour after launch.
The launch plan does not specify what will happen if the mission is delayed or does not go as planned.
