ENSİA sets local production and export goals for its next decade
ENSİA, a Turkish association for renewable energy companies and business people, celebrated its 10th anniversary in İzmir.
It has 116 corporate members across Turkey, whose companies together employ more than 50,000 people.
The association says Turkey has built strong manufacturing and engineering skills in clean energy.
In its next decade, ENSİA aims to increase the share of equipment made in Turkey and strengthen domestic supply chains.
It also plans to expand exports and support new businesses developing clean energy technologies.
The association argues that producing renewable energy is not enough if the equipment used to make it is imported.
Its goal is for Turkey to develop clean energy technology, manufacture equipment and sell it abroad.
ENSİA marked its 10th anniversary and shared its project goals for its second decade.
The association aims to increase domestic production, develop supply chains and expand exports.
It also plans to support innovative ventures in clean energy technologies.
ENSİA President Elvan Aygün Anbar said equipment used to produce energy should also be made in Türkiye.
The association has 116 corporate members whose employees number more than 50,000.

In the second decade of ENSİA, we will continue working toward a Türkiye that is not only a consumer of clean energy, but also develops its technology, produces its equipment and exports it to every corner of the world.
