Scott McLaughlin donates race-winning IndyCar suit to charity auction
Scott McLaughlin has donated the race suit he wore when he won the final round of the 2026 IndyCar Series at Laguna Seca, California.
The victory was his first of the season and came after a difficult campaign in which he finished sixth in the championship.
The suit is now part of an auction raising funds for Motorsport Ministries, which supports people across Australian motorsport.
Its services include practical, emotional and spiritual care for competitors, officials, crews and families.
The winning bidder will also receive four photographs documenting the victory and McLaughlin handing over the suit.
Lloyds Auctions has set no buyer’s premium, so all proceeds from the suit will go to the charity.
The auction is live, and the PPQ Legends Night event is scheduled for 23 October at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa.
