Lombardy cooperative banks report growth in first half of 2026

Cooperative banks in Lombardy reported more deposits and loans in the first half of 2026.

They lent more than €25.5 billion to businesses and households, up 5.6% from a year earlier.

They also held 21.5% of the market for loans to small businesses in the region.

The figures show the role these banks play in financing local communities and businesses.
