Patrick Stump reflects on Fall Out Boy’s 25 years

Fall Out Boy began in 2001, and singer Patrick Stump has reflected on the band reaching 25 years.

He shared the anniversary message on the band’s social media accounts.

Stump said he could not imagine life beyond 21 when he was 17, the year the band started.

He said the group felt as if it truly began when drummer Andy Hurley joined, replacing Mike Pareskuwicz in 2003.

By that measure, Stump suggested the band could mark another 25-year milestone in 2028.

He also said the four current members still enjoy working together and considers the band to have remained together through its hiatus.

Stump hopes they can keep making music together in the years ahead.
