Investors pour money into short-term Korean ETFs as stocks trade in a range
Cash-management ETFs invest in short-term financial products and can serve as a temporary place to hold money.
Six such funds received 4.2 trillion won in a month.
The inflows came as South Korea’s KOSPI stayed below 7,000 for about three months.
Investors appear to be waiting for clearer market direction while earning interest on their cash.
