Italy-Germany bond spread falls to 109 points
The spread measures the difference between borrowing costs for Italy and Germany.
It fell to 109 points from 111 the day before.
Italy’s 10-year bond yield also eased, to 4.57% from 4.6%.
A lower spread means the gap between the two countries’ borrowing costs narrowed.
