Audi Q7’s third generation adds a six-seat option and new features
Audi has introduced the third generation of its Q7, a large luxury SUV designed with families in mind.
The model first launched 21 years ago and helped establish Audi’s Q range, which now includes 11 models.
This Q7 measures 5.06 metres long and offers five-, six- or seven-seat configurations.
Its features include electrically operated doors, adaptive air suspension and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system paired with a 3.0-litre diesel engine.
Prices start at 87,150 euros for the 245-horsepower version and 89,850 euros for the 299-horsepower version.
Audi plans to add a plug-in hybrid in the second quarter of 2027.
The company expects that version to make up 42% of Q7 sales, compared with 50% for diesel and 8% for petrol.
The Audi Q7 review highlights increased cabin space and a new six-seat configuration.
The third-generation Q7 measures 5.06 metres long, 2.30 metres wide and 1.71 metres high.
The five-seat version has boot capacity ranging from 670 to 2,075 litres.
The review describes the Q7 as comfortable and secure to drive, while noting that its front driver-side pillar can limit visibility.
