Mexico City blames Cuauhtémoc borough works for Tlatelolco sinkhole

A car fell into a hole in the road in Tlatelolco.

Emergency crews helped the driver and removed the car, and a preliminary report said no one was hurt.

Mexico City said the work in the area was being handled by Cuauhtémoc borough, not its water agency.

The responsibility matters because it may guide who investigates and addresses the hazard.
