Midea completes acquisition of 100% of Italian medical imaging company Esaote

Midea now owns all of Esaote, an Italian company that makes medical imaging equipment.

Esaote specializes in ultrasound, open MRI systems and medical IT.

Midea says it plans to invest in research, production and operations to help Esaote grow.

The deal also expands Midea’s medical imaging business.
