Delhi Police detain at least 100 ahead of planned CJP protest

Delhi Police detained at least 100 people with criminal records in overnight operations across 15 districts.

The detentions came before a planned Cockroach Janta Party protest at Jantar Mantar over an Election Commission dispute.

Police had denied permission for the protest, while the party said it had notified police rather than asked for permission.

Authorities also announced transport and other restrictions around the city.
