Audria and Activa merge to form Barcelona-based Nexia Audiva
Barcelona professional services firms Audria Auditoría y Consultoría and Activa Auditoría & Consultoría have completed a merger after a year of talks.
The new firm is called Nexia Audiva and will have 70 staff, including nine partners, and annual revenue of about €6.5 million.
Its work is mainly in Catalonia, with offices also in Andorra la Vella, Vigo and Madrid.
The firm focuses on auditing and joins the international Nexia network, which operates in 118 countries.
The companies say the merger will broaden their expertise and help them invest, particularly in artificial intelligence.
They also say it is intended to support generational succession and ensure the firm’s continuity.
Emili Coll, formerly Activa’s president, now leads Nexia Audiva.
