Spanish staffing firm recruits more than 3,500 workers from Peru

Spain has shortages of workers in industries such as transport, construction and logistics.

In 2021, Diego Carbajosa and Raquel Quiroga founded Talento Grupo Internacional to recruit workers abroad.

The company focuses on Peru, where it assesses candidates before they move to Spain.

Its founders say Spanish employers needed workers, while recruitment firms were not prepared to organise hiring in Peru.

The company says it has brought and regularised more than 3,500 professionals and now serves over 270 businesses.

It says its approach offers workers a genuine opportunity to build a life in Spain, although paperwork can slow the process.

Its stated goal is to bring 30,000 workers by 2030.
