Movistar Plus and Skydance extend global partnership for two years

Movistar Plus and Skydance renewed their partnership for two years in a global agreement covering entertainment services in Spain.

The deal includes new work across streaming, channels, films, original productions and sports rights.

Movistar Plus will keep offering HBO Max within its platform, where customers can access its catalogue in the Movistar Plus environment.

Subscribers can also use the HBO Max app directly by signing in.

The agreement also creates a new category of joint original productions, with stories made in Spain intended to reach audiences internationally.

The partnership aims to combine local productions with major international entertainment brands in one offer.

HBO Max will remain part of Movistar Plus's commercial offer and will also be added to O2.
