The Basque government approved the Indartuz loan programme on 13 October for businesses and self-employed people in Euskadi.
It is designed to help them fund projects that improve their competitiveness, including business growth, digitalisation and lower-emission production.
The programme is part of the region’s Euskadi Eraldatuz 2030 strategy and a wider plan to mobilise €1 billion for modernisation and growth.

Eligible companies can borrow €200,000 to €2 million, while self-employed borrowers can access €50,000 to €250,000.
Loans will be guaranteed by Elkargi and backed by the Basque administration, with terms of up to 10 years and no fees or extra costs.
The scheme aims to make strategic investment more affordable, including in advanced technology, energy efficiency and international expansion.
