AT&T led Mexico’s reported 5G coverage, while Altán led guaranteed 4G

AT&T reached a larger share of Mexico’s population with its own 5G network than Telcel did in the second quarter of 2026.

Altán led in guaranteed 4G coverage, which refers to areas where service must meet the regulator’s quality standards.

These figures describe operators’ own networks, not necessarily the service customers can access through roaming.
