Going Medieval adds diplomacy deals with neighbouring settlements

Going Medieval has added a diplomacy system in its latest update.

The medieval settlement-building game is developed by Foxy Voxel and is set among 12 non-player factions across six faction types.

Players can send caravans to settlements and make deals for help, resources or rare items, with the terms shaped by their relationship and what they offer.

In return, players may deliver livestock, clear bandit camps or lend a settler; some factions may also protect caravans or provide military support.

Each settlement can have only one active diplomatic deal at a time, and a new one can begin when it ends.

Envoys can now arrive with requests, while players can also hire workers for jobs such as farming and tailoring, or pay mercenaries to fight.

The update also adds faction-specific resources, market changes, events, quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.

represents the faction coming to you with a specific request already in hand - you can’t choose what is asked of you, but you do choose what they receive in return.
