NASA may have found evidence of alien life, but it may never be confirmed

NASA may have found evidence of life beyond Earth, but it is not clear from the available information what the evidence is.

Scientists may never be able to check the finding, so it may remain unconfirmed.

The claim concerns possible life beyond Earth, not confirmed contact with aliens.

The uncertainty is whether the evidence can be verified by scientists.

Without that check, the finding cannot establish that life exists beyond Earth.

The available information does not say what happens next.
