Risto Mejide to host weekly current affairs show on Cuatro
Cuatro is producing a new weekly current affairs show called El Comité, hosted by Risto Mejide.
The Spanish channel plans to air it one night a week after Horizonte, but no premiere date or broadcast day has been announced.
The show grows out of a panel segment on Todo es mentira, Mejide’s daytime programme.
Mejide will open each episode with an editorial before leading specialists in discussions of political, economic, legal, social and international issues.
Reporters will also contribute live connections, interviews, on-the-ground information and investigations, alongside Bea Márquez, who will introduce the programme’s different segments.
