Marvel’s VisionQuest begins with a two-episode Disney+ premiere
VisionQuest is a new Marvel series and a spin-off of WandaVision that follows the rebuilt android Vision, played by Paul Bettany.
After escaping people who wanted to use him as a weapon, Vision tries to understand who he is while the artificial intelligence programs in his system offer guidance.
He goes on the run with Thomas Shepard after learning that a reward has been offered for his capture; Shepard may be a new version of Vision’s son, Tommy.
The series is set about a year after WandaVision, and its story draws on Vision’s links to artificial intelligence programs including Ultron.
The first two episodes are scheduled to premiere on Disney+, but the stated date differs: one account gives October 13 at 10 p.m., while another lists a worldwide launch on October 14.
Further episodes are listed for weekly release through November 25, though reports of paired episode releases have not been confirmed.
