Photographer Steve Winter recalls iconic Hollywood cougar image

Steve Winter photographed cougar P-22 in front of the Hollywood sign.

He and biologist Jeff Sikich spent 15 months setting up camera traps in Griffith Park to get the image.

Winter says he learned about big cats from scientists and local people.

Their knowledge helped him document these animals.
