Russian envoy says Europe is prolonging, not mediating, Ukraine conflict

Russia’s UN envoy said Europe is helping the Ukraine conflict continue instead of mediating for peace.

He made the accusation at a UN Security Council meeting about Ukraine.

It is his view, not an independently established fact in the report.

His comments reflect disagreement over Europe’s role in the conflict.
