Asbestos concerns keep Plymouth beach closed
Asbestos has washed up at Mount Batten Beach for more than six years.
Tests this year found fibres in the sand at levels that could pose a health risk if inhaled, so the beach was closed.
No asbestos was found in the air during two rounds of testing.
Residents suspect coastal erosion may be exposing old construction waste from the former RAF base, but the source has not been confirmed.
