Three people killed after car hits scooter near Kochi
Three people, including two women, were killed when a car hit their scooter near Nedumbassery in Ernakulam district, Kerala.
The crash happened around 1:45 a.m.
on Sunday on Airport-Athani Road.
Police said the car was allegedly speeding and struck the scooter from behind.
The three people were employees of an antique shop in Thrikkakara and were returning from a shop.
They were taken to hospitals but were declared dead.
Police took the car’s driver and passenger into custody.
