Doncic-backed BC Roma says its long-term plans do not depend on one league

BC Roma is a new basketball club in Rome, backed by NBA star Luka Doncic.

It is playing in Italy’s top league and the EuroCup in its first season.

Project leader Valerio Bianchini says the club aims to be financially sustainable.

He says its future should not depend on whether it plays in the EuroLeague or the NBA.
