Danny becomes a detective sergeant as Boston Blue opens Season 2

Danny Reagan starts Season 2 of Boston Blue with a promotion to detective sergeant.

He waits for his partner Lena’s support because she was passed over for a promotion last season.

The two will keep working together, even though Danny is now technically her superior.

The premiere also brings back Henry Reagan and hints that the attack on a detective may be part of a wider threat to Lena’s family.
