TF1 Brings ‘Taskmaster’ and ‘Holey Moley’ Formats to France
French broadcaster TF1 is bringing two competition formats to its lineup: the British comedy show ‘Taskmaster’ and the U.S. miniature-golf show ‘Holey Moley.’
In ‘Taskmaster,’ five celebrities take on absurd challenges, with French TV personality Camille Combal producing and serving as the Taskmaster’s assistant.
The French version of ‘Holey Moley,’ called ‘Crazy Mini Golf,’ sends contestants through a course with oversized obstacles and physical challenges.
YouTube comedy duo McFly and Carlito will host it.
TF1 filmed the show in Portugal with ITV in the U.K. and Amazon in Germany, sharing the cost of recreating the elaborate course.
The broadcaster says it wants interactive entertainment that can bring audiences together and attract younger viewers, while offering an alternative to costly original dramas.
TF1 has not stated when either show will launch.
