Shona deletes recording as Kit begins chemotherapy in Coronation Street

In Monday’s Coronation Street, Shona tells Bethany that she deleted a recording of Bethany and Kit’s one-night stand.

Jodie had used the recording in a blackmail attempt before leaving hospital, and she has also left her phone behind.

Bethany is relieved, although Shona cannot contact Jodie and the recording’s disappearance may not settle the matter.

Kit prepares for chemotherapy by shaving his head, with his son Brody helping him.

Bernie joins Kit for his first appointment, where he talks about his childhood and the time she missed with him.

At home, Ronnie stops Debbie from putting a knife into a toaster, but she feels patronised and they argue.

Gary’s son Jake is suspended for fighting, while Idris plots to cause problems for the Bistro over a dispute involving out-of-date meat; the episode also shows how family tensions and health challenges affect the characters.
