Qfin investors have until Nov. 30 to seek lead role in securities lawsuit

A federal securities class action has been filed against Qfin Holdings, a company listed on Nasdaq.

The lawsuit alleges that Qfin and its executives overstated the stability of the business and downplayed how regulatory changes could hurt its results.

These are allegations, not findings by a court.

Qfin reported that second-quarter 2026 revenue fell 31.6% from a year earlier and net income fell 76.8%.

It also forecast a steep decline in third-quarter non-GAAP net income, citing higher funding costs and liquidity shocks in China's consumer credit market.

After the results were released on Aug.

25, Qfin's American Depositary Receipt price fell 18.91% the next day.

Investors who bought or acquired Qfin securities from March 18 through Aug.

25, 2026, and suffered losses may be eligible to participate.

They have until Nov.

30, 2026, to ask the court to appoint them as lead plaintiff; other class members can remain in the case without seeking that role.
