Travel agency manager arrested over alleged €40,000 scam targeting retirees

At least 80 retirees paid a travel agency for trips and hotel stays.

Police say the agency manager did not pay for the bookings, leaving some travelers unable to go and others without paid accommodation.

The suspected fraud totals more than €40,000.

The manager was arrested and referred to a court.
