Apple may unveil redesigned MacBook Pros and iPads in late October

Apple is reportedly preparing a hardware event around October 27, but has not officially confirmed a date.

The event could feature redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops with touchscreen OLED displays.

They may also include a Dynamic Island and changes to macOS to support touch controls.

Apple could update a 14-inch MacBook Pro and an iMac with M6 processors, while keeping their current designs.

A new iPad mini is also expected, with an OLED screen and an A20 Pro chip.

Its price could rise from the current starting price of $599, but the reported estimate of about $799 is not confirmed.

If the plans go ahead, the event could be Apple’s final major product launch of 2026; the details may change.
