Harper shines as Spurs consider starting him alongside Fox and Castle

Dylan Harper scored 16 points in his first preseason game for the San Antonio Spurs.

The team had planned to start him with guards De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle, but Fox sat out because he was sore.

The Spurs have not confirmed whether they will use that lineup in future games.

In Houston, Fred VanVleet returned after missing last season with a torn ACL and helped the Rockets beat Dallas.
