Medvedev says Wawrinka’s achievements earned players’ respect

Medvedev says Wawrinka’s three Grand Slam titles were remarkable because he won them while the Big Four dominated tennis.

He thinks players respect Wawrinka, even if some fans may underrate him.

Medvedev also praised Wawrinka as fierce on court and relaxed off it.

Wawrinka is expected to retire after the 2026 season.
