Flavio Cobolli says he knew his father had approached Juan Carlos Ferrero

Cobolli’s father said he had tried for two years to get Ferrero to coach his son, but Ferrero turned him down several times.

Cobolli said he knew about the effort and felt a bit intimidated talking to Ferrero.

He said they have a good relationship and wished Ferrero well.

Ferrero has not said who he will coach next.
