Kiev metro service resumes after power outage

Kiev metro trains have started running again on all lines after a power outage.

Service is still slower than usual, with waits of more than 15 minutes possible on the blue line.

The outage also stopped other electric transport and disrupted water supplies.

The disruptions show how damage to power infrastructure can affect basic city services.
