NATO commander urges support for Ukraine and efforts to end war
General Alexus G. Grynkewich, NATO’s top military commander, says the alliance should increase its support for Ukraine when it faces Russian hybrid attacks.
He described the war as brutal and said there may be “windows of opportunity” to bring it to an end.
Grynkewich said NATO should use those openings where possible to bring both sides to the negotiating table.
The comments were made in Warsaw during his first interview with Bloomberg TV.
They point to two priorities: supporting Ukraine and pursuing chances to end the conflict.
