Gaza peace plan meets some goals, but rebuilding and governance remain stalled

The Board of Peace was created to help govern Gaza and support a path to lasting peace.

Hamas released all 168 living captives, and Israel freed Palestinian prisoners.

But the planned Palestinian committee has not been allowed into Gaza, and aid remains restricted.

That means many people still lack the conditions needed to recover and rebuild.
