Indian man dies after Riyadh airport attack, embassy says
An Indian man from Hyderabad has died after being injured in an attack at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
His family was also affected: three relatives were injured, according to a statement by politician Asaduddin Owaisi.
The Indian Embassy said at least 10 Indians were among more than 300 people injured in the attack.
The airport had faced several attacks in the preceding days, and Saudi Arabia blamed Houthi militants.
India condemned the attacks and said civilian deaths and damage to infrastructure were unacceptable.
The embassy is in contact with the man’s family and says it will help bring his remains back to India.
It has also advised Indians in Saudi Arabia to stay alert, follow local authorities’ instructions and remain indoors when necessary.
