Essex ends Robin Das contract as rape case moves through court

Robin Das faces two rape charges, which have not been decided by a court.

He appeared in court and is on conditional bail while the case continues.

Essex says his playing contract ended after his suspension left him unable to play.

The club says that decision was separate from the legal case.
