Yair Golan says killing Ali Khamenei was a mistake for Israel

Yair Golan said Israel made a mistake by killing Iran’s former leader Ali Khamenei.

He argued that Iran is now led by more extreme figures.

Golan also said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu set an unrealistic goal of overthrowing Iran’s government.

His comments criticize both the decision to kill Khamenei and the way the war was handled.
