Yemeni party leader condemns deadly attack on Riyadh airport

Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr, chairman of Yemen’s Shura Council and a senior figure in the General People's Congress, condemned an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

He said Houthi forces carried out the attack on October 10, 2026.

His statement said the attack killed Saudi citizens and people of other nationalities, and injured others.

Bin Daghr called the assault a war crime and said those responsible should be held accountable.

He urged the international community to take a firm stance against the Houthis.

He also offered condolences to Saudi leaders, the government and the families of those killed.

He called on his party’s members and supporters in Yemen to condemn the attack, but no further action was specified.
